Premium Body Jewelry and Piercing Services You Can Trust
At Tribu, every piercing starts with the right jewelry and ends with a result you’ll wear for life. With five studio locations across Connecticut, New Jersey, and Florida, we’ve built our reputation on one standard: no shortcuts.
- Implant-grade materials, always. Every piece used in a piercing service is ASTM F136 titanium, solid 14k gold, or implant-grade niobium — materials your body won’t reject.
- Sterile technique at every station. Single-use needles, autoclave-sterilized tools, and clinical-grade prep are non-negotiable at every Tribu location.
- Piercers who know anatomy. Placement depth, angle, and jewelry gauge are chosen for your specific tissue — not a one-size template.
- Aftercare that goes beyond the appointment. We walk every client through healing protocols before they leave and welcome aftercare check-ins at any of our studios, no charge.
Whether you’re getting your first lobe or adding to a curated ear, Tribu’s piercing services are designed to heal well, look right, and last.
WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
What is included in the piercing service fee?
The piercing service fee includes the piercing done with a basic ASTM-316L Stainless Steel jewelry. Tribu Piercings also offers a wide variety of options in Implant Grade Titanium, 14K Gold, and precious stones, with prices that may vary.
Do I need to book an appointment?
Appointments are always preferred for piercings, but walk-ins are welcome depending on availability.
Can I be pierced with my own jewelry?
For sanitary reasons, we only pierce with pre-sterilized jewelry from our studio.
However, if you have flat-back jewelry from our studio, you may bring the top piece and consult with a piercer to see if it can be used for a new piercing. If it is useable, you would just have to purchase a new sterilized back post and it would require additional time for sterilization of your old top piece.
Please note, jewelry is not included in the cost of the piercing.
What do I need to bring to be pierced?
ADULTS
In order to be pierced you must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid photo ID. Acceptable identification includes the following:
- Driver’s license
- Passport
- State issued identification card
MINORS
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian and must provide identification and proof of age and relationship to the guardian in order to be pierced. Acceptable identification and proof of age and relationship includes the following:
- Any of the forms of acceptable identification listed above from both parent and minor on which either last names or addresses match.
- If the parent has a different last name and address than the minor, then legal documentation (birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce papers, adoption papers, etc.) must be provided to verify the relationship.
- If the legal guardian is not the parent, then legal documentation (adoption papers, power of attorney giving full guardianship without limitations, etc.) must be provided to verify the guardian’s legal right to sign for the minor.
- Siblings over 21 years old would be able to sign for a piercing as a legal guardian as long as they both show an ID showing matching last names. Basic Piercings only such as: Earlobes, cartilages, Belly, Nose, Eyebrow according to the minimum age. (No Nipples, Dermals or Surface bars.)
- 16 years old and older will be able to sign for themselves for earlobe piercings only. Earlobes are considered First, second and third earlobes only.
How many piercings can I get in one session?
We suggest a maximum of four piercings per session, but this may vary depending on the location of the piercings and your individual anatomy. The number of piercings per session is subject to the recommendation of your piercer.
When should I downsize my piercing?
Downsizing is a term that we use frequently throughout your piercing experience. Think of downsizing as a helpful and recommended step in the continuation of your healing process.
